The Planet eStream Live Multi-channel Encoding Module is designed to complement the other Planet eStream encoder options for users who need to stream live over IP from multiple sources. This option will allow the user to stream from up to 5 sources simultaneously but will not archive the content to the Planet eStream digital media archive.

The Planet eStream Transcoding Module is an ideal option for clients who have a high volume of digital video media to add to the Planet eStream system both initially and on a regular basis. Digital media may be added to the system via any computer connected to the internet using a web browser. The uploaded media is then converted to the correct format and archived to Planet eStream's central digital media archive.

Benefits:

Record free-to-air TV programmes via a standard web browser with the Planet eStream Freeview Recording Module. The Electronic Programme Guide can be easily accessed by any authorised user who can then choose any programme to be recorded with a single click of the mouse. All recorded material is added to Planet eStream's central digital media archive and is then available for viewing via its intuitive web interface either locally or via the internet.

Planet eStream v5 offers a wide range of Encoding Station options for encoding from analogue sources such as DVD/VHS players through to lecture capture and high definition.
