"Liquid Edition Pro significantly enhances the Edition rendering engine to support realtime preview. The enhancement is built upon Pinnacle´s Liquid Edition Accelerator (AGP) board. Pinnacle claims up to 10 streams (five video plus five graphics) can be employed simultaneously. On a 3GHz P4, with a 7,200rpm SCSI drive, I was able to apply various realtime filters to seven video streams without dropping frames — specifically, six PIP streams over one background video stream.
