MC-HD1 is a powerful conversion product that is capable of HD and SD signal conversion, SD to HD upscaling, HD to SD downscaling and HD cross scaling.
An Ideal Front-end Solution The MC-HD1 is ideally suited as a front-end to non-linear editing (NLE) and media asset management (MAM) systems or as a video conversion tool for live-production or post-production use. The MC-HD1 also makes it possible to monitor an SD down-conversion of any output source.
The MC-HD1 features HD/SD-SDI, HDMI, component, composite (SD) and Y/C (SD), unbalanced/balanced audio and dual channel AES/EBU digital audio inputs and outputs. In addition, de-interlacing/interlacing, frame-rate conversion, audio embed/de-embed, SD/HD up/down scaling and adaptive audio delay compensation for increased flexibility. The MC-HD1 is packaged in a compact 1RU chassis with a backlit LCD display for settings and status and an easy to use scroll wheel for menu navigation. Settings can be controlled and viewed using the MC-HD1's built in web server via a simple network connection from any web browser. External devices such as VTR's can be controlled via RS422 and outputs genlocked.

A powerful converter in a portable package, the MCSDI-1 enables you to convert the output from any camera including prosumer-level cameras to professional-grade HD-SDI or SD-SDI for outstanding, broadcast-quality video.
Flexible and Affordable With it’s ability to convert SD, HD, or HDMI inputs to SD-SDI or HD-SDI, the MCSDI-1 delivers multiple conversion options in one, cost-effective unit.
Portable With its small footprint, the MCSDI-1 is extremely portable, can be mounted on a camera, and powered by a 7.2V DC camera battery (Adapter required).
Multiple Input Options The MCSDI-1 accommodates HD analogue, SD analogue, and HDMI inputs.
Input Signal Auto Sensing With built-in auto sensing, no signal-setting is required for video inputs, making the unit very simple to use.
Extends the Usage of Prosumer Cameras Prosumer-level HD cameras (with analogue or HDMI output) can now be used in live studio shoots when combined with the MCSDI-1.
Two-Channel Audio Input The MCSDI-1 can accommodate two channels of audio input and embed them both in the SDI signal, requiring only one SDI cable for both video and audio transmission.

Designed for broadcast and professional postproduction, the MediaConverter MC-2E makes advanced, bidirectional video conversion affordable, reliable, and easy. With a variety of inputs and outputs, the MediaConverter MC-2E enables you to convert DV to analog video, analog video to DV, and analog or DV to SDI. No matter what your conversion needs are DV, CV, Y/C, YUV, or SDI the MediaConverter has you covered.
NLE System Compatibility The perfect complement to popular editing systems such as Avid Xpress DV, Pinnacle Liquid, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere, the MediaConverter MC-2E enables you to work with footage from any source including video recorded on older tape formats by converting it to digital video for nonlinear editing. Once your program is edited, you can transfer it to tape for archiving.
Audio Conversion The MediaConverter MC-2E also includes a full-featured audio signal converter with connections for unbalanced stereo, balanced stereo, AES/EBU, and DV/SDI embedded audio. The audio input can be selected independently from the video signal and all audio outputs are available simultaneously, enabling the MediaConverter MC-2E to embed or de-embed audio.
TBC and Genlock The Focus MediaConverter MC-2E includes full-frame time base correction and Genlock, making it perfect for broadcast applications.
Timecode Conversion and Control Featuring bidirectional D-VITC to DV TC conversion, the MediaConverter MC-2E ensures that users of nonlinear editing systems can easily maintain the same timecode values as tape. The MediaConverter MC-2E includes an RS-422 interface that enables smooth conversion of RS-422 LTC to DV TC and an RS-232 interface for firmware updates and system settings. Video levels, audio levels, and colour phase (HUE) can be adjusted by the user for maximum control over picture and sound.
