Designed-for-purpose Digital Signage Player
The SWEP-HD+ is small (300mm x 195mm x 50mm) with a black powder coated steel construction, providing industrial reliability and ease of mounting. The use of the high specification, fan-less, Intel Atom processor further increases reliability with the only moving part in the system being the high specification hard drive. An additional benefit is that the unit is also virtually silent in operation.

Independent VGA and DVI-D outputs, both capable of supporting resolutions from 800x600 up to FULL HD (1920x1080) and more, allows the unit to connect to almost every electronic screen technology available. In extended desktop mode resolutions of 3840x1080 can easily be supported (as can portrait mode operation).

Unattended operation capabilities are supported with BIOS options for ‘boot on power up’, ‘boot after power fail’, Wake-on-LAN, RTC wake up (turn on at specific times of day).

For data transfer the SWEP-HD+ features gigabit Ethernet and 4 USB 2.0 ports.

Digital Signage Web Server Technology
SWEP (Sedao Web Enabled Player) is a complete, web based, content and user administration system pre-installed on the SWEP-HD+.

Once an ImageFlyer presentation, or folder of presentations, is loaded on to the SWEP HD+ (either locally or via a network connection) you simply direct the SWEP software at the presentations and set up which users are allowed to update which elements of your presentations.

If you only want a user to be able to login (via a standard web browser) and change a welcome message then that’s all they can do. It’s so easy that training staff on how to change a simple welcome message should take no more than 30 seconds. If you want your staff to be able to upload new photos, movies or schedule layouts it is equally easy.

Pre-installed Software
As well as SWEP the HD+ comes pre-installed with a selection of ImageFlyer screen layouts and a ‘getting started’ QuickChange installation making commissioning your digital signage system fast and simple. Using just your logo and 3 digital photos you can set up 20 screen layouts, perfectly branded and colour matched for your organisation, in less than 5 minutes. Every SWEP also comes pre-installed with the full Sedao software suite of ImageFlyer, RollerWriter, RSSWriter and ContentManager (Additional licenses may be required).

For your convenience Sedao also pre-installs a complete suite of plugs-ins including the most commonly used software codecs, PowerPoint® Viewer, remote desktop viewer (VNC), Flash® player and a library of ‘flash animation’ analogue and digital clocks; licensed for your free use courtesy of digital artist www.adamdorman.com.
