All solar Systems arrive pre-configured and before dispatch are put through their paces by our experienced Planet engineers. You can even expect a courtesy call from a Planet engineer once the system is on the work bench to make sure the system is tested with your workflow.

The Apple Mac Pro requires no introduction. The industry standard power PC now houses Intel Xeon Processors, the Planet Solar Systems use two 2.4GHz Quad Core ‘Westmere’ processors, with the option of upgrading to two 6-Core’s for those looking to push the system. As standard the Solar System ships with 6GB of RAM and the new ATI Radeon 5770 1GB delivering over six times the performance compared to its predecessor. All our Apple Mac Pro based Solar Systems come pre-configured with Final Cut Studio 3 and there are a number of optional video I/O upgrades available.

Each Planet Solar System comes with Solar Support, a comprehensive service and support package that lasts for an amazing 3 years. This gives you a one-stop service and support from our Planet engineers, so most issues can be resolved quickly and efficiently.

Here is exactly what you get (and what it means):

• Full Return to Base Warranty
  The Solar Support provides full cover for both parts and labour, as all hardware can fail from time to time. If this happens we are happy to deal with it, all we need you to do is to return the item to us and we will do the rest
  
• Technical support
  This gives you direct access to our friendly Planet engineers are available via telephone or e-mail.
  
• Remote System support*
  Getting access to your machine allows us to diagnose problems even faster, so our remote support lets our Planet Engineers do just that. Via our remote access portal, we can connect directly to your system and start searching for, and hopefully fixing the problem you were having.

At Planet PC we endeavour to make life easier for our valued customers, and we appreciate that sometimes returning faulty items can be expensive and time consuming. Planet Solar Support+ takes care of this, offering a collect and return service for the full 3 years of you Solar Support contract. So all you need to do is package the kit up and tell us where to pick it up from.

Due to the configuration and testing process our Workstations are therefore not available for next-working-day delivery, build times do not usually exceed 10 working days. Confirmation of expected delivery dates are confirmed upon receipt of your order.
