The SR-DVM600 is in essence a slightly de-featured SR-DVM700:
(a) The hard disk drive capacity is 40GB (not 250GB)
(b) There is no RS-232 connection
(c) The actual DV signal itself cannot be recorded onto the hard disk
(d) Customisation of menu backgrounds & fonts is not possible.
