The ADVC55 is a compact analogue-to-DV converter that connects externally to the computer or DV camcorder/recorder via the IEEE 1394 OHCI interface.
The ADVC-55 can be powered by a powered IEEE 1394 6-pin connector, making it the perfect mobile converter unit for both Macintosh and PC video enthusiasts. An external Power Supply Unit is also available for those without a powered IEEE 1394 interface.
