The ADVC300 is the latest addition to Canopus’ successful digital video converter range. It incorporates high quality image enhancement, using time base correction and digital noise reduction, to convert analogue (Hi 8/VHS) video to DV.

Advanced Image Enhancement Features:-- 2D/3D Y/C separation - separates the Y/C and composite signals
- Digital 2D/3D digital noise reduction - eliminates noise in the analogue video signal
- Digital 3D frame synchroniser – stores incoming signals in the frame buffer to supply a stable synchronisation signal to the DV encoder chip
- Digital line time base corrector - detects and corrects image jitter
- Digital AGC (Auto Gain Control) - automatically adjusts the input video signal level for a clearer picture
- Adjustable black stretch; white gain; white step
- Edge sharpening filter
- Colour bar display
