G-SPEED can easily be configured as a RAID 0, 1, 3, 5 or RAID 6. This flexibility enables the system to be tuned to the required level of performance and fault-tolerance necessary to support your application. G-SPEED can also be configured in JBOD (Just-a-Bunch-of Disks) mode for use with digital audio workstations.
G-SPEED offers industry leading performance with full support for multi-stream SD and uncompressed HD work flows - up to 10-bit, 1080/60i on a single array. Striping two G-SPEED units together supports 2K editing systems.
The Fibre Channel version of G-SPEED features 4GBit connectivity and utilises Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) LC optical transceivers. The system connects to any Mac or PC workstation using thin optical cabling and is backwards compatible with existing 1& 2GBit Fibre Channel infrastructures.
