K2|Profile Component is a QuickTime component and Final Cut Pro plug-in that allows users to move to a file-based media workflow – when ingesting from and exporting to Grass Valley K2 and Profile servers. File transfer over 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection, providing the fastest import of content possible.
Telestream leverages its expertise in digital media workflows to enable an all-digital, file-based media workflow between Apple Final Cut Pro editing systems and Grass Valley professional media servers.
Now Final Cut Pro users can import DV and IMX D-10 video and uncompressed audio from Grass Valley servers for editing in Final Cut Pro using the Flip4Mac K2|Profile Components.
Import content directly from Grass Valley servers into the Final Cut Pro project bin. Edit. Then export from Final Cut Pro for seamless file transfer to Grass Valley servers.
