The TARGA 3000 uses a unique proprietary Pinnacle ASIC called HUB3 that uses a modern memory-centric architecture and scalable rendering. Processing is faster than real time and scales with the size of the image and the complexity of the operations. Current TARGA 3000 products are based on standard definition PAL and NTSC formats, but the core architecture is scalable to HD with few changes required in application software.
TARGA 3000 cards are full length PCI cards that operate in either 33Mhz/32bit or 33MHz/64bit slots. Drivers are available for Windows NT4 and Windows 2000.
