The Baby Ball Gag Windshield is made of the same materials as the standard windshield and is fitted with a grommet that grips the microphone body. The microphone is pushed through the grommet, completely enclosing the microphone capsule within the windshield.

The Mono Extended Ball Gag is sized to accommodate mono (single) microphone configurations and the Mono Modular Suspension system. The microphone capsule is completely enclosed within the windshield, leaving the remaining shaft exposed.

Rycote Mono Extended Ballgag Suspension
The Rycote Mono Extended Ballgag Suspension is specifically designed for use with the Schoeps CCM range of microphones. Microphones are suspended to the four-point hoop frame using the mic clip and four silicone bands.

The optional Connbox will further reduce handling noise if necessary. Connboxes shorten cable lengths and further isolate the cable from the microphone element, contributing to an overall trouble-free recording.

Rycote Mono Extended Ballgag Suspension (M/S)
The Rycote Mono Extended Ballgag Suspension (M/S) is specifically designed for use with the Schoeps CCM range of microphones. Both microphones are suspended to the four-point hoop frame using the mic clips and four silicone bands.

Even though the mono suspension is capable of M/S micing techniques, it is sometimes suggested to use the stereo extended version, which offers a greater diameter and increased air space while using a windshield.

The Softie CCA allows you to attach your shotgun microphone to camcorders fitted with a microphone clamp (25-27mm diameter) or a boom pole. The Softie mount provides isolation against lens motor noise and general handling noise.

The CCA can be used either as a conventional Boom Adaptor fitted on the end of a boom or fish pole or on a camcorder mic clamp. The CCA has a brass 3/8" Whitworth thread insert for the fitting to the pole. The design of the CCA also allows for the XLR connector to be anchored using the supplied Velcro grip.

The Softie CCA allows you to attach your shotgun microphone to camcorders fitted with a microphone clamp (25-27mm diameter). The Softie mount provides isolation against lens motor noise and general handling noise.

Note: The CCA replaced the Softie mount & Boom adaptor in February 2006.

The Softie mount & handle can be used as a hand-held mount or be fitted to a
boom pole with a 3/8" Whitworth thread.The handle is designed to securely
hold the XLR connector, to prevent any unwanted noises.

Rycote XY/MS mount
The Rycote XY/MS mount is specifically designed to mount two miniature and remote microphone capsules in XY or MS stereo pickup angles. The XY/MS mount will accommodate microphones measuring 19/20mm or 21/22mm in diameter. A reference-pin location system will adjust pick up angles between 120, 105, 90, 70 and 0 degrees. The entire XY/MS mount may be installed, as an accessory into the Rycote Stereo Extended Ball Gag suspension windshield, or mounted as a stand-alone device.
