After years of using the Fig Rig on his award-winning films, Mike Figgis brought his idea to Manfrotto. An idea that is non-traditional in design, but purely simple and effective. The only modular system in the world to smoothly support the DV camera and act as a frame to mount all the accessories ? including zoom controllers, mics, mixers, lights, monitors, arms... With the use of the optional 595CLA you can convert the Fig Rig frame into a fully-loaded roving cine rig precisely positioning your mic or monitor anywhere around your camera. Add on a Manfrotto 521 series remote control and now you have complete fingertip control of zoom and focus. Customise the Fig Rig to your liking. Manfrotto provides the canvas to allow you to create your masterpiece.

Single lever braking system controls all three 3" wheels and folds easily for transporting and storage. Also features a 3/8" attachment on the centre spider allowing positioning of a head for low angle shooting. Accepts tripods with rubber/metal retractable spiked feet.

The Manfrotto 516 Pro Fluid Video Head
Specifically designed for the latest DV camcorders used by documentary and industrial videographers. The 516 head is a very compact and light but can support cameras up to 10kg.

The 516 is a cost effective, high performance head equipped with fluid cartridges that provide continuous adjustable drag control. This system gives a wide range of friction control down to "zero drag" and operates on both pan and tilt axis. Other important features of this head are: separate tilt and pan locking mechanism, a fixed counterbalance spring of 7.5kg load capacity at a centre of gravity of 125mm, two telescopic pan handles and a bubble level.

Manfrotto 350MVB Tripod
With tandem aluminium legs and a 100mm claw-ball leveller this is a versatile and popular tripod. It features high tensile tubular aluminium legs with variable angle adjustments within a 180 degree arc, quick flip lever leg locks and stainless steel fittings with high quality castings. Twin spiked feet come as standard.

519 Video Head
Pro Fluid Head. Ideal for MINI DV, DVCAM, HD, ENG. Manfrotto has developed the 519, a compact yet heavy-duty fluid video head capable of accommodating a counterbalance payload from 1.5 kg up to 9 kg. The 519 will be the only video head on the market encompassing both interchangeable and adjustable counter-balance springs. Videographers can interchange a vast array of cameras of various weights as well as quickly fine tune the perfect balance point of whatever camera being used. In addition, fluid drag is easily controlled with a large click-stop numbered knob in seven increments. Drag can be adjusted from the highest possible setting to nearly zero drag, allowing for the finest control through 360 degrees pan and +90 degrees to -90 degrees tilt. Head Bowl 75 mm.

525 Tripod
A two stage, lightweight high tensile aluminum Pro-Tripod that is extremely rigid and stable, 75mm bowl for quick and simple levelling, the tripod has an adjustable leg clamp levers for reliability and safety in the field and a floor-level spreader fitted as standard.

Designed for light and medium weight tripods. The 3" wheels have a sure-lock feature that raises the wheels free off the ground so that the dolly rests on separate feet. Folds to a compact 22.5" and is suitable for all tripod foot types.

The Manfrotto 501 Head
Designed to support the latest range of small, professional digital cameras as well as cameras with longer lenses and spotting scopes.
The 501 head gives best in the market value and performance for payloads up to an ample 6kg. The light but positive fluid movement provides exceptionally smooth control through 360 pan and +90 to -60 tilt. It has added Teflon friction adjustment to increase drag and separate pan and tilt locks.
Design practicality also features a quick release sliding plate with VHS pin, a single pan bar and flat base with 3/8" tripod fixing.

Manfrotto 525MVB Lightweight Video Tripod
A two stage, lightweight, high tensile aluminium tripod that is extremely rigid and stable. The 525MVB has a die cast aluminum crown with built in 75mm interface bowl, adjustable leg clamp levers fir reliability and safety in the field and a floor level spreader which aids tripod leg angle setting adjustment. Lower leg section has twin spiked metal feet. Comes in black.
