The T2™ HD iDDR is the latest addition to the Grass Valley™ family of Intelligent Digital Disk Recorders (iDDRs). The iDDR is a new class of VTR replacement that leverages the digital storage, networking, and media management capabilities of our Emmy® Award-winning video servers.
The T2 intelligent digital disk recorder (iDDR) brings full high-definition capture and playback to the video professional. Additionally, the T2 HD iDDR works with standard-definition video and may be controlled from other production devices such as the Indigo™ A/V mixer.
The T2 iDDR is a complete and self contained SD and HD audio/ video playout center. The front-panel transport controls are designed to look and feel very much like those of traditional VTRs and its two output channels support standard- or high-definition content. The crisp, clear LCD front panel can display high-quality images and is complemented by a software application suite for managing and selecting media clips, clip editing and trimming, and playout including playlist creation. Featuring extensive rear-panel audio / video connectivity, the T2 iDDR can also accept files via USB 2.0, or by data transfer over a standard gigabit Ethernet network. The T2 HD iDDR also accepts media from other applications, including HQAVI, MPEG-2, QuickTime, and Windows Media Video HD files. With the T2 iDDR, users can exchange content at high speed over a network or via removable media, such as SSD through USB, FireWire (IEEE 1394), or the dedicated 2.5-inch HDD/SSD slot. Further, the T2 iDDR can be controlled by our Indigo A/V mixer which combines features normally found in video production switchers, presentation mixers, and audio mixers to create a powerful presentation system. The T2 iDDR has two playout channels for independent editing and previewing, or for delivering content to two different display systems simultaneously. The T2 iDDR has also been engineered to seamlessly integrate with Grass Valley EDIUS® nonlinear editing software.source files.

The Thomson Grass Valley ADVC-HD50 converter lets you instantly convert uncompressed HD video and audio from HDMI devices to the HDV format, output via IEEE 1394 FireWire, for use in your nonlinear editor of choice. Carrying on the design philosophy already present with standard definition (SD) ADVC products, the ADVC-HD50 converter sports a sleek, portable design with an emphasis on simplicity and compatibility; the converter does not require any drivers or software to set up, and is compatible with both PC- and Mac-based editors.
The ADVC-HD50 converter will convert any uncompressed HDMI source, such as an AVCHD camcorder, to the HDV format for easier editing. This also reduces the need for a high-performance system or costly hard disk drive storage configurations to work with uncompressed HD video. The converter may also be used to convert non-HDCP-protected video from other HDMI sources, such as game consoles and set-top boxes.
Bringing affordable HD flexibility into the professional videography and prosumer workflow, the ADVC-HD50 converter is ideal for:
- Anyone creating video productions from HDMI sources, with limited resources and/or hardware
- Gamers and 3D graphics artists seeking to capture from HDMI sources
- Laptops and desktops that need HDMI ingest without internal hardware to support the input
Key Features:-- Connects HDMI*-equipped video equipment to FireWire (IEEE 1394)-equipped computers and devices for video editing
- Converts 1280x720 HDMI to 1280x720 HDV, and 1920x1080 to 1440x1080 HDV
- Compatible with Windows and Macintosh operating system-based HDV editors
- No need to install drivers or any software applications
- Powered by FireWire (IEEE 1394) connector**
- NTSC- and PAL-compatible
* HDMI support for 1.0-1.1 (HDMI 1.3, HDCP not supported) ** The ADVC-PSU5V AC adapter kit (sold separately) is required when connecting the ADVC-HD50 to a 4-pin FireWire (IEEE 1394) port

The Grass Valley™ Professional Line of products is the next generation of solutions for audio/video professionals, helping you create and deliver broadcast-quality presentations while streamlining your investments in personnel and technology. A key component of this line is the Grass Valley Indigo A/V mixer, a new class of high-quality, multi-format audio/video mixer. Combining features normally found in video production switchers, AV presentation mixers, and audio mixers, it is a powerful, cost-effective, and easy-to-operate platform for live-presentation environments.
All - In - One AV Mixer The Indigo platform offers a complete feature set for controlling multiple analogue or digital video and audio sources. With a high-resolution card installed, it simultaneously processes 15 sources: 12 SD, one scaled up from SD to HD, and two selected from HD video or computer inputs. It also up converts to HD and down converts to SD even simulcasts live SD and HD output. The Indigo platform also manages the mixing and timing of audio sources, ranging from unbalanced analogue to AES/EBU signals. And it seamlessly combines live, high-resolution computer-based media and presentation content with real-time video and audio materials.
Fits Any Skill Level The Indigo AV mixer is simple enough for anyone to use. While providing full production switcher capabilities, its menu-driven touch screen interface can access powerful presets to get a new operator up and running in minutes. A senior operator can also customise these presets and save them for recall when needed.
Video Processing and Effects The Indigo platform features numerous 2D and 3D transition effects that you can modify and save, along with all other layout data, into its E-MEM preset storage banks. Indigo keyers include linear, luminance and chroma keys.
Advanced Audio Mixing Supporting eight stereo audio input channels from a selection of digital and balanced or unbalanced analogue sources, each Indigo audio channel has a four-band parametric equaliser and motor-driven fader. The mixer also provides phantom power for four microphones. And it can operate in audio-follow video mode, automatically fading audio up or down when its associated video source is taken to program. The mixer also features delay tracking, delaying audio automatically to coincide with any delay of video through the switcher, as well as user-defined output delay. These features ensure lip sync in live productions.
High In Value and Very Affordable The Indigo mixer offers a number of economic benefits. Its competitive price, expansive functionality, and feature set ensure that you will no longer need separate and often more expensive production switchers and audio-mixing devices to get the job done.
Expansion The Indigo HR AV mixer can connect hp to 8 HD-SDI inputs. The input expansion is a combination of Indigo's powerful external device controls with a customised version of the Acappella router from Thomson Grass Valley. With this expansion you
