Credit Card/debit cards
We accept most major credit and debit cards via our Sage Pay secure gateway. Please see the secure online shopping section under payment policies below for more details.
Sage Pay utilises the 3D secure system for added security e.g. Mastercard SecureCode and Verified by Visa.
Please note that we reserve the right to ask you for further proof of identification on any card transaction that we do not consider secure. We also reserve the right to reject any orders for the same reasons. This is in place to protect both ourselves and our customers, please see our fraud protection policy below.
We accept funds via Bacs, FPS, CHAPS and International Funds Transfers direct to our bank account in GBP. You will automatically be offered the payment option of ‘Bank Transfer’ during the checkout process, should you select this option, you will receive an order confirmation email with order details and our bank account information in order for your to carry out the transfer of your funds.
We offer 30 Day credit terms as an automatic payment option during checkout to valid Educational and Public Sector organisations as standard. All existing Planet DV customers with current credit account facilities in place will also be offered this payment option automatically during checkout. Please note that orders placed on credit account will be processed upon receipt of an official purchase order which can either be attached electronically during the checkout process or forwarded following order placement.
Payment on collection will automatically be offered to UK customers as an option during the checkout process who have selected ‘collection’ as a delivery method. Please note that full payment will be required on collection by either credit/debit card or cash under the value of £2000.
For UK customers, we can offer finance packages via reputable specialist finance partners on goods over the value of £2000, these packages are not available for online orders, please call our sales team on 01274 713400 with your enquiry

Our Payment Service Provider is Sage Pay (formerly Protx) – the largest independent payment service provider (PSP) in the UK and Ireland. Sage Pay provides a secure payment gateway (Level 1 PCI DSS), processing payments for thousands of online businesses, including ours. It is Sage Pay’s utmost priority to ensure that transaction data is handled in a safe and secure way.
Sage Pay uses a range of secure methods such as fraud screening, I.P address blocking and 3D secure. Once on the Sage Pay system, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards.
Sage Pay is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant to the highest level and maintains regular security audits. Sage Pay is an active member of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.
In addition, you know that your session is in a secure encrypted environment when you see https:// in the web address, and/or when you see the locked padlock symbol alongside the URL.
So when buying through our site, you can be sure that you are completely protected.
We take attempts at fraud very seriously and do our utmost to protect ourselves and our valued customers against fraudulent activity. We have a very stringent order verification procedure and if we are in any doubt about the validity of an order placed, we will request further proof of identity or authority of the person placing the order prior to dispatch of the goods.
If we feel that we are unable to adequately verify the validity of an order or the identity of the person who has placed the order, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
For orders placed by customers outside of the UK, but within the EU, we are able to accept credit/debit card payment on orders up to a value limit of £2000. Orders over this value can be paid for by bank transfer.
For orders placed by customers outside of the UK and the EU, payment can only be made by bank transfer.
